Ray Castelo is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Brazil. Working predominantly in monochrome drawings and also in performance, Castelo creates visceral depictions of the human form. Driven by an interest in the human body, Castelo studied nursing and necropsy, where his research led him to delve into anatomic dysmorphia and the symbology of the body.
