Richard Bush

Richard Bush is a self-taught photographer. He grew up in London and studied French Literature at King’s College. His first published work was for Creative Review in 1999. He was selected to be part of the magazine's 'Creative Futures' exhibition where he met renowned make up artist Val Garland, which was his stepping stone into the fashion industry. His first major freelance assignment was for i-D magazine in March 2001 with stylist Jane How and he went on to work for major publications such as Dutch magazine and British Vogue

Bush developed his own unique approach to photography using 10x8 as his primary format, creating powerful fashion imagery both in studio and on location. His first major campaign was for Yohji Yamamoto and he has collaborated with luxury brands and high street giants alike including Saint Laurent, Cartier, Roberto Cavalli and H&M.

He continues to work with iconic publications such as Vogue Hommes, Vogue Italia, China, Japan, Russia, British Vogue US Vogue, Document Journal, Dazed, Self Service, Man About Town, Industrie, AnOther, V Magazine, Lovewant and Harper's Bazaar US and brands including Paco Rabanne, Bulgarie, L'Oréal Paris, No.21, Alberta Ferretti and Just Cavalli.
