Rose Robson

Artist

Rose Robson is a British artist who lives and works in London. She graduated from Central Saint Martins, specialising in sculpture. Her penchant for taxidermy–especially manipulating and reassembling bird forms into 'new' bodies and objects–calls on the viewer's ability to recognise and empathise with potential new identities. Robson subverts traditional taxidermy, using abstract forms to ensure that her creations are curious, subtle and complex. The finished work has a deliberate 'otherness', cultivated to ensure that her pieces stand apart from normal experiences of the world.
