Scott Wilson

Scott Wilson is a jewellery designer based in London. Whilst studying for an MA in womenswear and millinery at the Royal College of Art, Wilson completed a work placement with Karl Lagerfeld in Paris, creating one-off pieces for his Spring/Summer 1996 show. Since then, Wilson has launched his own eponymous label, working on catwalk pieces for a variety of designers including Thierry Mugler couture, Hussein Chalayan, Rifat Osbek, Burberry, Givenchy couture and Gaultier Paris couture to Pringle of Scotland, Pollini, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Peter Pilotto and New Power Studio. He has also been commissioned by clients as disparate as Kylie Minogue, Lindt, MAC and Björk, and by stylists such as Jane How, Patti Wilson and Sarah Richardson to create pieces for use in Vogue, W and Citizen K.

Taking inspiration from travel, far-flung civilisations and modernist architecture, Wilson creates innovative designs that are recognised for their great attention to detail and hand finished nature. His work has been showcased in numerous books and has been featured in Swarovski's Runway Rocks, part of the V&A's Fashion in Motion series in 2004. In 2007, Wilson launched the Scott Wilson Couture line; 2009 saw a collaboration with French ballerina shoe brand, Repetto.

Wilson dedicates himself to creative consultancy, working with leading international houses as well as creating desirable commercial jewellery collections for ASOS, Jaeger and AQ/AQ.
