Soki Mak

Stylist

Soki Mak is a London/US-based freelance creative director and fashion stylist, currently working and living in Spain. Upon graduating from Central Saint Martins, Mak started her styling career as a fashion assistant at Dazed & Confused magazine, afterwards Mak then worked as a fashion assistant at Vivienne Westwood.

After meeting Nadia Lee Cohen in London, Mak started working with the British photographer in LA; influencing each others work and attitude towards fashion and style. The pair have recently collaborated on Cohen's sell out portrait book Women; helping Mak contribute her love of working with real characters and real stories.

Mak's love of the hyper reality and pop culture, with the help of Cohen, was manifested through her work in LA where she shot various celebrity figures for independent magazines. Her body of work includes working with Travis Scott, 2 Chainz, Pamela Anderson, Paris Hilton, Rosalia and Lizzo.

During the global pandemic, Mak moved to Spain to work on a small sustainable clothing line with the label 3am-Eternal, set to release April 2021. The collection includes 22 pieces from Mak's own wardrobe where Mak, along with 3am-Eternal re-worked specific details. All proceeds from the clothing line goes to a women’s charity in support of domestic abuse victims.
