Bally’s Latest Campaign Goes Back To The Basics
When starting anew it's important to reconnect with your true self—whether by returning home, communing with nature, or both which is exactly what Bally has done in it's latest campaign. As the first under newly appointed design director Simone Bellotti, the campaign is a celebration of Bally's roots. Show at Villa Heleneum on the picturesque Lake Lugano in Switzerland, the natural backdrop serves as the perfect place for the brand's refresh.
Renowned British photographer Alasdair McLellan, known for his work depicting British youth as showcased in his recent book Home and Away, was tasked to capture Bally’s new direction. The campaign shows young innocence, with intimate images of models lounging on the grass, contemplatively gazing across the lake, or finding solace in each other's embrace. Wearing relaxed denim and leather they harmonise with the freshly cut grass and serene waters of the pristine lake.
The latest campaign pays homage to the brand’s rich heritage of Swiss luxury. It seamlessly blends the brand's classic artisanal legacy with effortlessly chic silhouettes, textured coats, and cosy wool knits. It introduces timeless shoes and accessories through an original perspective on the brand's identity. The warm palette evokes nostalgia while also sparking enthusiasm for Bally's future.
