The interactive project in support of the people of Ukraine was patched with messages from some of the world’s biggest names, including Nick Knight.

Earlier this year, Los Angeles-based fashion house Lever Couture announced that it was starting an interactive project in support of Ukraine amidst the ongoing Russian invasion. Creative director Jenny Williams, art director Ricci Williams, OWOW Agency and Marketing Agency Chest of Wonders, started A Love Letter to Ukraine to share messages of hope and inspiration, which would be used to create a one-of-a-kind couture dress. Calling on the global creative community to come together in support of the war-torn nation, no shortage of A-listers has contributed to the growing garment.

From all-over the globe, people were encouraged to upload their own love letters to Ukraine which were printed on squares of fabrics used to adorn the stark white garment. Since the project's inception, A-listers, including Milla Jovovish, Nicola Formichetti, Veja Farmiga, and SHOWstudio director Nick Knight have shared their own messages that have become part of the design. With each submission, the personalised gestures of hope and love showcase the growing community of support towards Ukraine.

Still, Lever Couture isn't finished with the one-of-a-kind project. The American couturier is looking for a museum or gallery space to give the dress the platform it deserves while encouraging more people to get involved. After which, they hope to gift it back to the people of Ukraine as the ultimate gesture of the world's support during these troubled times.
