Scandi womenswear brand Ganni has opened its first UK flagship store in Soho, London. Part of Ganni’s global expansion, the move will provide Londoners with an experiential retail space to explore and shop. To mark the occasion the store is offering exclusive London products.

Having signed the Global Fashion Agenda Circularity Commitment in 2017, the brand is working towards a sustainable, circular business model. The London store features display podiums created with recycled plastic, trays made from pressed fabrics and an innovative recycle-reuse-rewear scheme. People will be able to bring in their pre-loved garments – regardless of brand – and I:CO will extend their lives in one of three ways: clothing that can be used again will be sold second-hand; textiles that cannot be worn again will be used to create specific products like cleaning cloths; all other garments will be used to create textile fibres and non-woven fabrics for the construction industry.

Creative Director, Ditte Reffstrup, is delighted to take the 'Scandi 2.0' aesthetic to London. As she puts it, 'Opening a Ganni store in London is a dream come true ... I’ve been coming to the city for inspiration since I was a teenager.' Earlier in the year Ganni announced retail expansion to LA and New York; these stores will open in the Autumn.

The London store is open to the public and #GANNIGirls alike on 36 Beak Street, Soho.
