Fresh off the back of a stellar year–hit film Hustlers and that Versace closing walk–Jennifer Lopez stars in Coach's S/S 20 campaign called Originals Go Their Own Way, alongside actor Michael B. Jordan, as shot by Juergen Teller.

'I have a unique history with Coach that dates back to All I Have,' said Lopez, continuing, 'It is a brand that embodies the essence of being born and bred in New York and I, of course, deeply relate to that.'

Photographed by Juergen Teller in New York, the campaign features familiar NY locations including the Edge at Hudson Yards, and the High Line, where Coach held its S/S 20 show. The images also feature the sculpture Brick House by Simone Leigh. The 16-foot tall bronze bust of a black woman sits beneath the house’s headquarters and was featured in its recent show.

Creative director Stuart Vevers’ vision for Coach is to focus on spontaneity and playfulness, which certainly comes across in J.Lo's power poses and wide grin. The campaign's title reflects Vevers' desire to celebrate the individuals who 'forge their own unique way in life' - a very Frank Sinatra New York attitude.

'At the start of a new decade, I felt instinctively that it was right to celebrate the colour, energy and optimism of New York, our hometown and inspiration as a house,' said Stuart Vevers. 'I loved working with Juergen to bring my vision for spring to life, and to tell the stories of Jennifer and Michael in a unique and authentic way.'
