Nicholas Daley Expands Creative World with Sub Sun Collaboration

Continuing to celebrate sunnier climes with his S/S 23 Calypso collection, Nicholas Daley's latest venture is an eyewear collaboration with Sub Sun. Tied by their love of music, which always forms the backbone to Daley's shows and collections, Sub Sun co-founder Bradley Zero ( DJ and label boss at Peckham’s globally recognised Rhythm Section International) is also a previous collaborator of the London-based brand. The resulting collection pays tribute to 1960s musical icons who inspired Daley's mainline collection.

Muses Harry Belafonte and Sidney Poitier were the reference points for the Nicholas Daley x Sub Sun frames, with a curved and protruding shape made in Mazzuccelli Acetate available in green and purple colourways. 'It's a natural partnership and an honour to be working with such a talented peer who has proven, time and time again to be a true champion of the community, voice of the diaspora and a real innovator. For us to be collaborating on these frames is a beautiful, full circle moment', says Zero.
