London-based designer Nicholas Daley opens retail space focusing on community, craftsmanship and culture.

Fresh off the announcement that he's made the BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund Shortlist for 2022, Nicholas Daley has launched his first pop-up shop. The 15 February opening was marked by an in-conversation event with legendary DJ and musician Don Letts hosted by musician and broadcaster Nabihah Iqbal, setting the tone for the space. Not just a showcase for Daley's current RTW and archive designs, but a community hub featuring products from kindred independent retailers offering plants, furniture, bespoke incense, eyewear, books and records.

The pop-up has been made possible through Daley's award from the Appear Here - Space for Ideas prize in 2020, enabling visitors to experience a fuller picture of the Nicholas Daley brand in person. Daley's range of inspirations will be on display and for purchase alongside his collection including music from labels Touching Bass and Rhythm Section, Jason Jules' recent book BLACK IVY - A REVOLT IN STYLE, and art from long time collaborators of the brand; Bolade Banjo, Piczo, and Gaurab Thalik.

The Nicholas Daley pop-up shop will be open at 59 Greek Street, London until 27 February 2022.
