The award honours Nick Knight's contribution to photography and will be celebrated in an upcoming Somerset House exhibition.
Congratulations are due to SHOWstudio founder and director, Nick Knight. Knight has been awarded the 2022 Master of Photography from Photo London for his boundary pushing contributions to fashion image-making.
Photo London founders Michael Benson and Fariba Fasha particularly noted Knight's work in challenging conventional notions of beauty and addressing controversial issues in the world of fashion and beyond, including "racism, disability, ageism, and more recently fat-ism."
In conjunction with the award, an exhibition of Knight's photography, film, and sculpture will be presented at Somerset House for Photo London’s seventh edition from 12–15 May, 2022.
