Prada Cruise 2020 Campaign Says It With Flowers
Prada releases its Cruise 2020 advertising campaign, shot by two photographers: New York-based Drew Vickers, known for his quiet portraiture, and Japanese photographer Keizo Kitajima, noted for his street photography over five decades. In keeping with Prada's recent emphasis on simplicity - Miuccia Prada spoke of 'doing less' at her S/S 20 show - the images are fresh and uncomplicated. Vickers' monochrome portraits are presented next to Kitajima's action shots that look like the models are on a day out (at London's Somerset House).
The fresh twist? The images themselves are wrapped around floral bouquets, a symbol of everyday spontaneity. You might get your chance to get your hands on a Prada bouquet too - starting from November 14th, the campaign flower wrapping will hit select florists in London, Milan, Moscow, New York, Paris, Shanghai and Tokyo.
The campaign features both men and women, with Prada favourite Freja Beha Erichsen - who opened the S/S 20 runway show - in the lineup. Also featured are: Sara Blomqvist, Lexi Boling, Yang Hao, Stella Jones, Xiao Wen Ju, Xara Maria, Freek Men, Vik Nahishakiye, Ashley Radjarame, Kyla Ramsay, Toni Smith and Qun Y.
