Fash-Off

Launched on 08 June 2006

In 2006, provocative London Designer Gareth Pugh collaborated with SHOWstudio to stage an exhilarating series of art-meets-fashion performances. Running in parallel with Paris Autumn/Winter 2006 haute couture week, Fash-off featured a sequence of afternoon broadcasts representing Pugh’s attitude towards the different aspects of his meteoric rise to fashion stardom; boredom and repetition, artifice and multiple personae, high-octane glamour and the falsity of easily-dealt acclaim.
