And out they came at Versace, in throw back neons, ninties-style hot yellow (fur!) pink (leather!) and black and white with coloured tube trim, like fat fluorescent spaghetti. This was Versace old school style, so legitimate that Stella Tennant and Kristen McMenamy were there beside Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls. There was suiting - kicking it off for Dior the next day - though these looks were pinstriped with bold, very bold, gold shoulders and trimmings. It's pretty cool that you can now wear Atelier Versace pants with a white tee and swinging gold earrings. There was one look that could have been a gutted gold Moroccan pouf with yellow piping, splayed out and adorned with black furry epaulets. It was fun, the kind of dress that a girl who fancied such alternative decor might wear. For the more refined, there was the pinstripe sheath with a swish of transparency. All still very Versace, though brought into 2013 in pants and not-that-many floor sweeping slit dresses.
