Transport: Buses to Boats
This brief requires you explore public transport as a site for investigation and inspiration into visual culture. To begin with, you should identify at least five different routes of public transport that you can access locally. Each does not have to be a different vehicle, but avoid just choosing five different bus routes.
You must then spend a significant amount of time engaging with these five routes, so choose routes that fit within your own budget. Carry out initial research into where the route is, what form of transport it is, who travels on it, how does it change at certain time of the day, what is the final destination. Travel on each route at least once until it reaches the final destination. Document your experience using visual, written and audio methods making sure that you provide a thorough document of the journey and the place where the journey ends.
