Kit Whalley-Payne

Film Editor

Kit Whalley-Payne is a film editor at SHOWstudio.

Born and raised in East London, at the age of 16 he began to assist various artists and photographers, going on to work primarily for the fashion photographer Jesse John Jenkins. Alongside that, Whalley-Payne has worked independently on personal projects creating work that explores his passion for rhythm within a still image, film and music.

Whalley-Payne runs a shop on Hoxton Street, which sells T-shirts displayed physically within a billboard created by different artists, encouraging people who wouldn't normally buy a piece of art but who would buy a T-shirt to get something that is both. This project attempts to support artists by giving them a public space to display work and incite conscious consumption.
