In 1993,  Miuccia Prada and Patrizio Bertelli established Fondazione Prada, an art foundation that has supported and exhibited a number of artists including Louise Bourgeois, Dan Flavin, Barry McGee, Tom Friedman and Francesco Vezzoli, and has recently found a new home in a rejuvenated palazzo on Venice's Grand Canal. The Fondazione also plays host to Prada's shows during Milan Fashion Week.
