The Woolmark Company is the global authority on wool. Through their extensive network of relationships spanning the international textile and fashion industries, Woolmark highlight Australian wool’s position as the premier natural fibre and ingredient in luxury apparel. The Woolmark logo is one of the world’s most recognised and respected brands, providing assurance of the highest quality. The Woolmark Company is a subsidiary of Australian Wool Innovation, a not-for-profit enterprise owned by more than 24,000 woolgrowers that invest in research, development and marketing along the worldwide supply chain for Australian wool. 

The Woolmark Company also host the International Woolmark Prize, which celebrates fashion talents from around the globe who showcase Merino wool. First held in 1953 as an initiative of the International Wool Secretariat, the award was won the following year by fashion designers Karl Lagerfeld and Yves Saint Laurent.
