Giles Deacon
Acclaimed designer and party dress doyen Giles Deacon offered up the pattern to his double duchess silk 'The Troubadour' dress from A/W 07 collection. The frock - which was modelled on the runway by Lara Stone - is part playful, part traditional, thanks to eighteenth century notes such as a regal square neckline and puff sleeves.
Simply download the pattern - designed to fit a standard UK size 10 - and get to work crafting your own unique version of the frock. Deacon recommends using a fabric which has some structure to it, ideal choices would be heavy weight silk, denim or leather.
'I chose the dress from A/W 07 as it's relatively easy to make and would work in a variety of fabrics. I can't wait to see people's versions!' - Giles Deacon.
Send in images of your creations with your name and location via the email design.download@showstudio.com to be featured on the website!
