In 2005, Nick Knight photographed the model Gemma Ward for W Magazine in a story titled Altered States. At a time when the fashion industry was reluctant to embrace the advancements of the internet and technology, Knight endeavoured to make a story of his own, with Kev Stenning scanning Ward in 3D.
