Creatures of the Wind’s Shane Gabier and Chris Peters imagined a stormy Antwerp sky for S/S 18. This swirling, turbulent atmosphere left the pair dreaming of psychedelic moods, and they thought of the sixties - early hippie culture and hazy day trips.

There was a vintage fur-lined musty green coat with weed leaves as a print, a black and white leather trench, with the black bleeding onto the white, and a Margot Tenenbaum-style seventies tennis dress spritzed up with a flower accented belt. The Electric Kool-Aid moments were subtle. Tiny colourful daisies printed here and there. Neal Cassidy favoured leather boots. Those marijuana leaves.

Leather trenches were hand painted to bring to mind the Dutch Masters.

This was an eclectic collection, held together by a calmness and some very strong outerwear. Fabrics were repurposed. Ken Kesey's 'Further' was an initial reference. This was a thoughtful, intelligent offering. The inspirations were far ranging, but somehow it all worked. Beautifully.
