Since Marco De Vincenzo joined Etro as their creative director he’s been revamping the family-run business with his fresh-take on the brand’s archive. For his debut collection the designer introduced his first bag for the brand dubbed the Love Trotter. Taking sustainability into account the design (which is handmade in Italy) is crafted entirely from upcycled fabrics. Well, De Vincenzo is letting no material go to waste with the introduction of ‘Kind Knits’, his latest upcycled capsule collection.

Etro A/W 23 Womenswear

Part of Etro’s A/W 23 womenswear show which was unveiled as part of Milan Fashion Week, ‘Kind Knits’ finds new purpose for materials that would otherwise go to waste. One of Etro’s long-standing partners provided samples of stock yarns to the design team to reimagine into new knits. The capsule collection debuts two styles — a waistcoat and a jumper — in 11 vibrant, striped variants. The imaginative designs not only highlight the brand’s ingenuity and expert craftsmanship, but De Vincenzo’s commitment to planet-positive initiatives.

The limited ‘Kind Knits’ collection is available now at Etro.com
