SHOWstudio hosted an illuminating conversation between photography expert Philippe Garner and Michael Avedon, photographer and grandson of the great Richard Avedon. The two travel through Richard Avedon's sixty year career–from the 'Paris years' (later immortalised in the 1957 film Funny Face) to his landmark series In the American West and beyond–and reveal the personal desires and character traits that drove him to achieve success.
